Property Sales and Leasing

Our firm is currently seeking experienced leasing/sales associates to join our close-knit team of commission-based agents. Candidates will have knowledge of leasing and selling commercial property by the following:
• Developing property concepts by researching and analyzing current use and demographics
• Identifying and approaching prospective tenants; creating and distributing marketing materials
• Responding to drop-ins and other inquiries; advertising vacancies; preparing properties for showing
• Ordering and supervising repairs and improvements
• Showing properties
• Preparing market studies and analysis
• Negotiating terms of contracts
• Completing leases and sales

Associates study real estate leasing/sales trends and economic conditions; participate in educational opportunities and industry conferences; read professional publications; maintain personal networks; and participate in professional and community organizations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Sales experience preferred
• Must be able to work well both independently and as part of a team
• Must be highly self-motivated
• Must have extremely high sense of urgency
• Must have strong work ethics and direction

Intern

The internship at Cohen Commercial is designed to provide experience in the field of commercial property management and leasing through various projects and learning opportunities.

Candidates will have an interest in leasing and management of commercial property. There will be opportunities for interns to gain first-hand experience by accompanying leasing agents canvassing for new clients, attending property showings, and attending leads and sales meetings. Duties may include but are not limited to researching and analyzing current use and demographics, creating LoopNet reports, creating and distributing marketing materials, assisting property managers and working on special projects for tenant representation or site selection with leasing agents. Associates study real estate leasing/sales trends and economic conditions; participate in educational opportunities and industry conferences; read professional publications; maintain personal networks; and participate in professional and community organizations.
